It was a title game rematch in Class 5A with reigning champion Bishop McDevitt facing District 12 powerhouse Roman Catholic. Last year’s overtime defeat offered extra motivation for Roman Catholic, which was in control from start to finish of a 28-6 victory over District 3 champ Bishop McDevitt to claim the program’s first state title.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - In the Class 5A 2025 UK HealthCare Sports Medicine State Football Finals, Pulaski County will face Owensboro on Dec. 6 at 8:00 p.m. Both teams enter this matchup with a 12-2 overall record, and the highest two RPI’s in their class.

The Nixa Eagles will play for the school’s first-ever high school football state championship on Saturday in the Class 6 final. Southwest Missouri’s Carthage and Seneca will also play for titles.
